Supervising social worker
Each of our foster carers has a professionally qualified named supervising social worker to ensure that our carers are fully supported. Your supervising social worker will arrange to visit you at least once a month and will contact you by telephone usually weekly. If more contact is needed, this will be arranged. Your supervising social worker can help with things like report writing and dealing with birth parents and local authorities. They also carry out a yearly review of your development as a foster carer and help you to achieve training objectives.
