Supervising Social Worker (Pathway Care)
Job Description
We require an experienced & qualified Supervising Social Worker to manage a caseload covering the Midlands area.
You will be required to support a caseload of Foster Carers by regular visits, telephone calls, attendance at children's reviews and liaison with the child's Social Worker. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and some experience of working with children and families. Previous experience of presenting training to Foster Carers would be advantageous.
You will also be required to support the team in the recruitment, training and assessment of Foster Carers in addition to producing well written assessment reports and annual reviews to the fostering panel at agreed timescales.
The ability to work with minimum supervision, together with excellent time management skills are essential for the post.
Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be GSCC registered.
The above position includes excellent benefits including company car / car allowance.
