Could you foster in Worthing

24-07-2012

Staff from locally based independent foster care agency, Fostering Solutions were determined to make a big splash in Worthing on Saturday 21st July!

Mingling with the crowds at the Splash FM Garden Party in Steyne Gardens, Worthing, Supervising Social Workers Val Emery and Michelle Grindey, together with Manager, Dawn Dunn, were pleased to chat with attendees and answer their questions about the role of foster carers and the urgent need to recruit new carers for the 750 children and young people in care in West Sussex.

Dawn found the whole event to be "a great success in raising the profile of Fostering Solutions in West Sussex. It was great to get out and meet people to break down some of the myths surrounding fostering and to encourage people to share their homes with children and young people in genuine need in the Worthing area and West Sussex as a whole".

If you live in Worthing or, indeed, anywhere in West Sussex and would like to learn more about fostering, please visit the new Fostering Solutions office at 4 Tudor Buildings, Littlehampton Road, Worthing, BN13 1QE or telephone us on 0845 505 1294
