"The best thing about fostering is looking back at how the boys were when they first came to us" - Sharon and Stephen.
Sharon and Stephen have been foster carers with Fostering Solutions for almost 2 years. Before this, they were both self employed but they now find that fostering is a full time occupation!
At the moment they are caring for 2 brothers aged 10 and 13 and both Sharon and Stephen are hoping they will remain there until they are old enough to live independently.
Due to the boys emotional problems, Sharon and Stephen have faced some tough times, but they have come through any obstacles just fine. "There is always someone at the end of the phone if we need to talk through things" says Sharon.
"The best thing about fostering is looking back at how the boys were when they first came to us and the progress they have made- we've done that, we've played a part in that process! We have had experiences with the boys that we would never have had otherwise".
