Ofsted take responsibility for inspections
On 1st April 2007, CSCI and Ofsted combined with two other inpectorates to form the Office of Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills. The organisation remains named as Ofsted, however the range of work carried out has vastly changed.
Inspections of the service we provide, ensuring that we continue to comply with legislation and regulations, will now be carried out by Ofsted.
