New BBC series highlights need for more foster carers 11.07.07
The BBC has today launched a new campaign to help raise awareness of the need for more foster carers. The campaign, running from July - September 2007 is entitled "Family Wanted" and follows the success of the programme "Who do you think you are?". The campaign begins with a week of programming on BBC1 from Monday 16th July- Friday 20th July. Radio interviews and newspaper articles will continue thoroughout the summer months, culminating in regional information events across the UK.
