Fostering Solutions implements the recommendations of 

The Children's Workforce Development Council

During Foster Care Fortnight in May 2007, the Children's Workforce and Development Council (CWDC) launched the "Training, Support & Development Standards for Foster Carers".   and recommended all fostering services should be implementing the Standards by April 2008 .

Fostering Solutions Training Department have produced booklets for all our existing and prospective foster carers detailing our training process from the introductory training for people wishing to foster through years one, two and three of their foster carer career and what happens after those three years.
