Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I continue working?
It is possible to continue working in some circumstances as long as you have flexibility within your employment and are able to meet a child's day to day needs, for example, transporting to and from school. Most of our carers do not work as the role of a foster carer is a recognised profession.
Q: I'm gay - can I still foster?
We are not looking for a specific family set up or sexual orientation. Much more important is your commitment to fostering and your ability to offer a child or young person a safe and secure environment at a difficult time in their lives.
